We are an underground house label group based in the Detroit area, founded in 2009 by Nicole Simpkins. Nicole grew up in the Detroit area and fell in love with music at an early age while going to many underground warehouse parties there in the late 1990s. She learned how to play drums at the age of 19 and played hand-drums alongside bands and DJs as a hobby. She enjoyed the Detroit techno and house scenes as a student, and then decided to study culinary arts and start a career with food and wine. She later traveled around Europe and learned how to produce music in the Netherlands while working there as a chef. She then spent a few years honing her production skills and learning how to use a drum computer. She decided to start a record label after meeting so many talented and undiscovered producers, making it her mission to give them a voice and to release truly unique productions.

The music of AudioBite Records ranges from deep house, underground progressive house, tech house, to techno. Our mission is to bring you high-quality, cutting edge music by the up and coming producers on the scene. Our artists come from every corner of the globe. We believe that all music should be unique and individual, and we are not afraid to take risks to release songs that we truly believe in.

In 2010 we started a sub label called AudioBite Soulful. The music of AudioBite Soulful ranges from deep and soulful house to vocal house and funky afro house. We share AudioBite Records' mission of bringing out only the best quality and cutting edge house music from the up and coming producers on the scene. AudioBite Soulful will only be releasing music that touches you truly deep down in your soul.

In 2014 we launched another sub label called AudioBite Lounge. This label covers the more relaxed side of electronic with genres ranging from chill deep house to downtempo to chillout/lounge to chill electronica.
